Solara’s Mount Shasta Group Tour at Sand Flat, 10/09/10
A “Group Tour” is when you bring your own group to town, and book us as your guide. We don’t put people together who don’t know each other, so we can retain the level of intimacy we prefer. Schools, church groups, wedding parties, corporations, family and friends can all enjoy group bonding as we guide you to beautiful alpine meadows, forests, springs, etc. If you’re an out-of-the-area Retreat or workshop leader you can enjoy a few hours off from leading the group’s activities by hiring our guide, so you relax and enjoy being guided.
Our tours are all below the 9,000-foot elevation. If you want the ultimate challenge of reaching the summit of Mount Shasta, call a local climbing guide company.
Each of our guides offers a unique experience based on their own life studies and inborn passion for exploring the great outdoors. They understand that a healthy relationship with nature is paramount to having a joyful, harmonious life on Earth.
A German Square Dance group couldn’t resist the opportunity to dance atop a huge boulder at the 8,000 foot elevation above Old Ski Bowl on Mount Shasta, caller and all! “We’ve square danced just about everywhere around the world!”
Whether it’s your first time to the area, or your twentieth enhance your groups’ Mount Shasta experience with Shasta Vortex Adventures as your guide, . Schools, church groups, wedding parties, corporations, family and friends can enjoy the benefits of group bonding and exploration in our beautiful alpine meadows and forests. Retreat and workshop leaders can enjoy a few hours off from coordinating group activities, so they can simply relax and enjoy being guided by someone else. We have a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service that is required when you offer commercial tours and events in the Shasta Trinity National Forest.
