I couldn’t sleep last night – Christmas Eve – so I sat up in my bed and wrote the phrases that kept repeating in my head. This is what came through me – a fitting message for the end of 2019.

The voice within you wants to speak, but first you need to clear your mind. Become the impartial observer who won’t be misled by inconsistencies that have no known purpose, other than to confuse and mislead. Let the truths buried deep beneath the lies of humanity find the freedom to express themselves. Bold moves forward must be made to bring ourselves back to the place where, “What’s good for one, is good for all,” with no exceptions. Pray for the weak-minded to find the courage they’ve lost, so that they, too, can stand up for what is good for all.

Only those who seek truth find it, while those who seek personal gain and power sink slowly into the mire of their own self-centered creation. Back up your words with actions. Police your own self until you can trust every word that comes out of your mouth. Truth – what is truth? How does one know if what they speak is true, or just a

collection of assumptions based on the fears of another?

There is a certain quality that comes to the forefront when one speaks the truth. The quality of love for all that exists can be felt behind the words that are spoken. It also comes with a feeling of peacefulness that puts one at ease and may even bring a smile to their face, and a laugh to their countenance. In order to feel those feelings, however, one must be relaxed and at peace with themselves. For if they are not, those words of truth will simply sound like any other words spoken from the mouth of someone who knows not what they’re saying.

In other words, a liar hears only lies, because their ears aren’t accustomed to hearing the truth. Their bodies have built up a resistance to love in its true form and are not able to detect truth when spoken. A more dire situation can’t be found, than in the heart of one who’s accustomed to speaking around the truth, rather than speaking the actual truth.

Bad habits are hard, but not impossible, to break. But the desire has to be there before change can occur. Something that indicates the fruitlessness of continually making up one story after another, needs to become apparent to a “serial liar.” Something that shakes their world up a bit and stops them dead in their tracks. Then, and only maybe then, they’ll begin to see the fruitlessness of spewing untruths in the face of another. The “battle of the untruths” can get pretty ugly at times, when two seasoned liars go after each other.

It’s so much easier to just tell the truth. But then you’d have to admit you’ve been lying, which can’t be the easiest thing for someone who’s taken pride in their ability to deceive and mislead others. Eventually, the truth will win out, but how many liars will have to be taken down first? Being a seasoned liar is a hopeless position to stand behind. Until one day you realize you’ve been floating in a sea of lies and have lost track of what is actually true.

How does one recover from such a fate – if they ever do? Take it easy on yourself, and don’t walk that path to begin with. Let the love that is all around everyone, everywhere guide and direct your every move. As love builds upon itself, it simply creates more love. What can possibly be wrong with a philosophy like that?

As 2019 turns into 2020, do yourself a favor. Make this New Year’s Resolution revolve around sharing more love with more people – even with those you feel “don’t deserve to be loved.” For in truth, all people deserve to receive love – as much love as they can possibly get. If that were the case, maybe then the need to lie wouldn’t be so prevalent.

Here’s wishing a Happy Loving New Year to everyone everywhere!
