Dan Horton
Dan Horton is a spiritual and adventure guide, empowerment coach, multidimensional journey facilitator and actor that has been working and guiding in the transformational field for over twenty five years. Dan has guided adventures in some of the most beautiful places on Mother Earth, including, Yosemite, Big Sur, Joshua Tree, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Arches, Chaco Canyon and the Dolomites in Italy.
In 2019, Dan was guided by Spirit to go on a Spiritual Journey that brought him to many sacred lands in the Northwest of the US, ultimately leading him to heed the call of Mount Shasta. In the recently released book, The Call of The Mystical Mountain, Dan entitles his chapter “Called Home” relating his story of the loving embrace he feels from the Mountain.
“Her energy shot through me like a lightning bolt and enlivened every ounce of my being,” Dan writes about his first glimpse of Mount Shasta.
Dan’s passion is to be in nature, and guide people into the awe inspiring and mystical reality that is Mount Shasta and the surrounding area. Dan draws upon his spiritual studies within the Toltec Lineage, the Philosophical Research Society, the Hypnosis Motivational Institute, the Gnostic Society and a myriad of other spiritual traditions, most prominently the Red Road of the Native American, the way of living in reciprocity and harmony with Mother Earth, when he is guiding, coaching and living for the highest good of all beings everywhere.
Dan sees Mount Shasta as a place of wonder, mysticism and healing. He is profoundly grateful for being part of the magical journey with each person he guides here.
Being an actor and teacher for over twenty five years in Los Angeles, Dan concentrated on his depth of channeling for whatever wanted to come through his higher self for a particular role or student. Dan applies his listening skills when he’s communing with nature and the elements, or the authentic self and higher dimensional beings, thus allowing the messages that want to come through him to be unfiltered and clear in the wisdom they have to o?er..

Sacred Site Tours:
We take you to vortex, portal, sacred spring sites, etc. to help you experience the powerful energy of those areas. There we lead guided meditations to assist you in connecting with the energy of place and attaining your intentions for the day. Transformation occurs for those who are ready to let go and awaken to their divine self and life purpose. These tours are low to medium impact, 4-hour or 7-hour journeys designed specifically for you or your group at beautiful, serene, awe inspiring sacred sites in the Mount Shasta area.

Winter Snowshoe Tours:
The same as a Sacred Site Tour, only offered in the winter time on the snow in Mount Shasta’s winter wonderland. Our tours are done on snowshoes in Winter and early Spring. Winter tours hold their own unique magic, with trees gracefully covered in snow, icicles dripping and snowshoes crunching. Have you ever heard the snow fall? Frozen Castle Lake has been called a “cathedral” by some. If you visit there before the ice is frozen solid, you may hear unique whale-like sounds that are made by the movements of the frozen ice.

Guided Vision Quests:
This 7-hour journey includes everything in a Sacred Site Tour and more – focusing specifically on what’s needed for your spiritual growth in that moment. This journey is designed for those who are searching for in-depth personal growth, spiritual awareness, an understanding of life purpose and what your next step might be. State your intention and see where that takes you. At the end of the day, your guide will revisit that intention, help you remember lessons learned, inspirations gained and help you remember what to accomplish next.
Exploratory Hikes:
Pack a lunch, bring a day pack and explore the wonders of the second highest mountain in the Cascade Range with us. Hike the low elevation terrains (9,000 ft. and below) of 14,179 ft. Mount Shasta, to discover hidden springs, meadows, old growth forests, alpine wildflowers, and other natural hidden treasures. Learn about the mountain’s unique geological history, and experience the peace of mind that can be gained by hiking the wilderness.
