Our Adventures are designed to refresh the body, inspire the mind, and awaken the spirit within you. Share your expectations and desires with your guide and together you can decide the best places to go. Accessing peace and relaxation are integral parts of our tours, so you can also just relax and let our expert guides lead the way.
Our guides are certified in CPR and First Aid, have liability insurance, and a Special Use Permit from the US Forest Service which makes it legal for us to offer commercial events on Shasta-Trinity National Forest property. Out Town Retreat Leaders – Book our guides for your commercial events and adventures on U.S. Forest Service property, since our Special Use Permit makes it legal for your group to hold their events in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. You will also have access to their extensive skills and knowledge of local power spots. They’re also certified in CPR and First Aid, and will cover you with our liability insurance. A “Group Tour” is when you bring your own group to town, and book us as your guide. We don’t put people together who don’t know each other, so we can retain the level of intimacy we prefer. Schools, church groups, wedding parties, corporations, family and friends can all enjoy group bonding as we take you to our beautiful alpine meadows, forests, springs, etc. If you’re a retreat or workshop leader you can enjoy a few hours off from coordinating the group’s activities by hiring one of our guides, so you relax and enjoy being guided.
Our tours are all below the 9,000 foot elevation. If you want the ultimate challenge of reaching the summit of Mount Shasta, call a local climbing guide company.
Each of our tour guides offer a unique experience based on their own life studies and inborn passion for exploring the great outdoors. They fully understand that a healthy relationship with nature is paramount to having a joyful and harmonious life here on Earth.

Attention Retreat Leaders: Shasta Vortex Adventures has a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service. Shasta Vortex Adventures operates under special use permit from the US Forest Service.
