We offer a variety of low to medium impact guided hiking trips throughout the Mount Shasta area. Moving slowly over this magnificent terrain allows for a greater awareness of the incredible beauty offered with each step taken, unless you’re trying to make it to the top of Mount Eddy or Black Butte.

Let us know if you’re more inclined to saunter and meander or if you’d like more of an aerobic workout.

If you’re looking for the ultimate challenge of reaching the summit of Mount Shasta, you’ll need to call a climbing guide company. All our trips are below the 9,000 foot elevation.

Exploratory Hikes

Pack a lunch, bring your day pack and come explore the wonders of the second highest mountain in the Cascade Range with us. Hike the varied low elevation terrains (9,000 ft. and below) of 14,179 ft. Mount Shasta, including the Old Ski Bowl Trails, Wagon Camp Road, Grey Butte, Green Butte, the Sierra Club Hut,  Sand Flat, Wagon Camp Road and much more. Discover hidden springs, meadows, old growth forests, alpine wildflowers, the mountain’s unique geological history, and the peace of mind gained by hiking in the wilderness.

Discover the many natural treasures hidden on Mount Eddy, Deadfall Lakes, Gumboot Lake, Lake Siskiyou, Box Canyon Dam, Castle Lake and more. Enjoy the many enticing waterfalls of the Sacramento and McCloud Rivers and take a dip (if you dare) in their cool, refreshing snow melt waters. Perfect Around the Mountain Driving Tour

Come experience Mount Shasta in its entirety. Experience firsthand the inside of a tephra cone and the intensity of a mud debris pyroclastic flow. Get a close-up view of the five major glaciers and the historical diversion structure built in the 1920’s and 30’s to prevent mud flows into the town of McCloud. This is a driving tour with Robin Kohn has a minimal amount of hiking and is customized to your needs..

Sacred Site Tour

For those of you who want to focus more on Mount Shasta’s world-renowned sacred mountain status, we’ll take you to vortex, portal,  sacred spring sites and waterfalls where you can experience the energy of this mountain vortex. When you approach the site with awe and reverence, state your intention and use your inner focus, these places can bring forth deep healing and understanding . . . the extent of which is really up to each person.
